There’s grass under this area of the lake, so it’s great bass fishing when the water is high because they like to hide in there. When the lake is low, it’s still pretty, all nice and green and the dock is on a tributary that feeds right into the lake, so there is some moving water year round, always something to see. Lake is too low for boats to park at dock from October - April, however this home is right around the corner from Ledford Chapel Boat Ramp (with has a double boat ramp), Jackrabbit Mountain Recreation Area and Chatuge Dam so there are many easy nearby entry points if you bring your boat. Kayaks and SUPs are great year round!
